There are some small capillaries located under the skin that are not visible to the naked eye. During the injection process, one of these capillaries can be injured which may lead to bruising.
The most common complications include localized injection-related bruising, needle marks, and/or swelling. This typically can last up to a week but can be disguised with makeup. Allergic reactions to the fillers also happen, but they are very rare.
Hyaluronic acid nose fillers typically last between 9 – 16 months although this can vary significantly depending on the individual and how quickly their body metabolizes the filler.
