Effective Long-Lasting Vein Treatment

The varicose vein treatments and sclerotherapy offered by Dr. Sharma and his team are not only highly successful and affordable, they also reduce the likelihood of recurrence. Our priority is to make certain our patients are satisfied, which can only be done by treating the underlying cause of your varicose veins. Recent studies have revealed that conventional treatments address only superficial symptoms without tackling deeper issues. Our objective is to provide the most comprehensive care possible so that your life dramatically improves.

Although not categorized as high-risk, this condition should be treated as soon as possible. Only the correct diagnosis can prevent the return of varicose veins. That is why we always treat the cause and the symptoms simultaneously.

What is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy is the treatment of varicose blood vessels by using a sclerosing solution that narrows the blood vessel wall. Closing off the vessel makes them less visible and improves aesthetics. Over several weeks the vessel can close off permanently to prevent further blood from entering the vein.

Safe and effective, sclerotherapy is considered the treatment of choice for small varicose or spider veins – generally in the legs. The solution is injected with a very fine needle resulting in short recovery times with minor possible side effects.

How Long Does Sclerotherapy Take to Work?

Depending on the size of the vein, it can take from a few weeks to several months to see the full effect of a sclerotherapy treatment. Small veins disappear quickly and most patients see significant improvements with a single treatment.

You may need future touch-ups with the appearance of new veins but the injected veins usually don’t reappear.

How Long is the Recovery from Sclerotherapy?

The recovery time for this treatment is typically very short. You can walk soon after your session and you’ll most likely be able to resume regular activities the same day.
