What is Mesotherapy?
Commonly known as “biorejuvenation” or “biorevitalization”, is a technique used to rejuvenate the skin by means of a transdermal injection of a multivitamin solution and natural plant extracts that are thought to improve the signs of skin aging. The compound is injected into the dermal layer of the skin with a fine needle.

One of the most common treatments requested at our clinic is the under eye filler procedure. When filler is performed correctly, it is an amazing way to fill in sunken areas around the eye – but it does not effect skin discolouration. That is where Skinlight Mesotherapy® comes in. Helping to even skin tone and reduce dark circles, this treatment will give you a completely refreshed appearance.
How the treatment is performed
The treatment is painless and completed without any injected anaesthetic. Using only topical numbing cream the custom SkinLight solution is injected into the skin using a small needle. The depth of the injection will vary depending on the area being targeted. The entire procedure takes roughly 45 minutes to complete, leaving your total time at the clinic at 1-hour.
How Many SkinLight® Treatments will I need?
For best results it is recommended to have a series of four treatments followed by one session every two to three months for maintenance.
After this point patients may choose to maintain the results with a follow up treatment every three to four months.

DOwntime
Much like any injection into the skin there is always a small chance for infection. With mesotherapy there is no downtime whatsoever. Other then the small chance for infection some patients experience inflammation or light bruising.
How Long does it take to see results?
The results can be seen within 5 days of the first session. However, optimal results take several treatments. Depending on your desired outcome the number of treatments may vary. Other factors include the size of the treatment area, skin tone, and skin quality.
